Terms & Conditions
The agreement between SUROS and the businesses we build for.
This document is a working draft maintained by SUROS. It has not yet been reviewed by an attorney, and it will be finalised before launch. Nothing here removes rights you have under applicable law.
1. Services
SUROS provides website design and development, hosting, maintenance and support, photography, and physical products including business cards and Review Tap cards. The specific services included in your engagement are those described in your selected plan, quote or proposal.
2. Subscriptions
Monthly plans renew automatically at the stated price until canceled. You may cancel at any time from your client portal to prevent future charges. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and does not refund previous payments.
Hosted websites remain live for the duration of an active subscription. Following cancellation, the hosted site is taken offline at the end of the paid period. You keep your content, photos and domain.
3. Ownership
On a monthly plan you own your content, photos and domain, and SUROS continues to host and manage the built site as part of the subscription.
Under Rent-to-Own, ownership of the website transfers once the agreed balance is fully paid.
Under the pay-in-full option, ownership transfers after final payment and handoff. Ongoing hosting, maintenance and security monitoring are not included after handoff unless purchased separately.
4. Scope of updates
Included updates cover reasonable ongoing changes such as text, images, pricing, hours and minor design adjustments. Full redesigns, new page systems and new functionality are quoted separately before any work begins.
5. Client responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate business information and for holding the rights to any content, logos or images you supply to SUROS.
6. Payment
Payments are processed by our payment provider. SUROS does not store raw card details. Failure to pay may result in suspension of services after notice.
7. Limitation
SUROS provides services with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by applicable law, SUROS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated. Material changes affecting active subscriptions will be communicated to the email address on your account.
